Seorang nabi dari Silo (1 Raja-raja 11:29; 14:2), disebut “orang Silo,” pada zaman Rehabeam. Tercatat dua nubuatnya yang luar biasa: 1 Raja-raja 11:31-39, yang memberitahukan tentang dikoyakkannya kesepuluh suku dari Salomo; dan 1 Raja-raja 14:6-16, yang disampaikan kepada istri Yerobeam, menubuatkan kematian Abia anak raja, kehancuran keluarga Yerobeam, dan penawanan Israel “ke seberang sungai besar.” Yerobeam memberikan kesaksian mengenai betapa tingginya dia dihormati sebagai nabi Allah (1 Raja-raja 14:2, 3).

1 Kings 12:15	Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform his saying, which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
