Kata ini ditemukan dalam Authorized Version hanya dalam Yosua 18:18. Kata ini merujuk pada cekungan tempat Sungai Yordan mengalir dari Danau Galilea ke Laut Mati. Sekarang disebut oleh orang Arab sebagai el-Ghor. Namun, Ghor kadang-kadang disebut membentang 10 mil ke selatan Laut Mati, dan dari sana ke Teluk Akaba di Laut Merah disebut Wadi el-Arabah.
