Tempat
Arpad
(Yesaya 10:9; 36:19; 37:13), juga Arfad, sokongan, sebuah kota di Siria dekat Hamat, yang selalu disebutkan bersamanya (2 Raja-raja 19:13; 18:34; Yesaya 10:9), serta Damsyik (Yeremia 49:23). Setelah dikepung selama tiga tahun, kota ini takluk (742 SM) di hadapan raja Asyur, Tiglat-Pileser II. Sekarang dikenal sebagai Tell Erfud.
