Baal-Peor

Tuan celah, dewa orang Moab (Bilangan 25:3; 31:16; Yosua 22:17), yang disembah dengan upacara-upacara cabul. Dinamai demikian dari Gunung Peor, tempat pemujaan ini dirayakan, Baal dari Peor. Orang Israel terjerumus ke dalam penyembahan berhala ini (Bilangan 25:3, 5, 18; Ulangan 4:3; Mazmur 106:28; Hosea 9:10).
