Bet-Peor

Rumah Peor; yaitu, “kuil Baal-Peor”, sebuah tempat di Moab, di sebelah timur Sungai Yordan, berseberangan dengan Yerikho. Tempat ini berada di daerah suku Ruben (Yosua 13:20; Ulangan 3:29; 4:46). Di “lembah” di seberang Bet-Peor inilah Musa kemungkinan besar dimakamkan (Ulangan 34:6).
