Sebuah karangan bunga, tempat asal orang Filistin (Ulangan 2:23; Yeremia 47:4; Amos 9:7). Nama ini ditemukan tertulis dalam hieroglif di kuil Kom Ombos di Mesir Hulu. Namun, letak persis Kaftor tidak diketahui, meskipun diduga adalah Kreta, karena orang Filistin tampaknya adalah yang dimaksud dengan “orang Kreti” dalam 1 Samuel 30:14 (lihat juga 2 Samuel 8:18). Akan tetapi, tempat ini mungkin merupakan bagian dari Mesir, yaitu Kaftur di Delta utara, karena orang Kaftor berasal dari ras yang sama dengan orang Misraim (Kejadian 10:14; 1 Tawarikh 1:12).
