Kamos
Pembinasa, penunduk, atau dewa-ikan, dewa orang Moab (Bilangan 21:29; Yeremia 48:7, 13, 46). Penyembahan dewa ini, “dewa kejijikan orang Moab,” diperkenalkan di Yerusalem oleh Salomo (1 Raja-raja 11:7), tetapi dihapuskan oleh Yosia (2 Raja-raja 23:13). Pada “Batu Moab” (q.v.), Mesa (2 Raja-raja 3:5) menganggap kemenangannya atas raja Israel adalah berkat dewa ini, “Dan Kamos mengusirnya dari hadapanku.”
