Geba
Bukit, (2 Samuel 5:25 [1Taw. 14:16, “Gibeon”]; 2 Raja-raja 23:8; Nehemia 11:31), sebuah kota orang Lewi di wilayah Benyamin (1 Raja-raja 15:22; 1 Samuel 13:16; 14:5, keliru diterjemahkan “Gibea” dalam AV), di perbatasan utara Yehuda dekat Gibea (Yesaya 10:29; Yosua 18:24, 28). Ungkapan “dari Geba sampai Bersyeba” menyatakan seluruh luas wilayah kerajaan Yehuda, sama seperti “dari Dan sampai Bersyeba” menggambarkan seluruh panjang wilayah Palestina (2 Raja-raja 23:8). Kota ini diidentifikasikan dengan Gaba (Yosua 18:24; Ezra 2:26; Nehemia 7:30), sekarang Jeb’a, sekitar 9 kilometer di sebelah utara Yerusalem.
