Pengasingan, sebuah kota di Basan (Ulangan 4:43), salah satu dari tiga kota perlindungan di sebelah timur Yordan, sekitar 12 mil di timur laut Danau Galilea (Yosua 20:8). Tidak ada keterangan lebih lanjut mengenainya di dalam Alkitab. Kota ini menjadi ibu kota provinsi Gaulonitis, salah satu dari empat provinsi pembagian Basan setelah pembuangan Babel, dan hampir identik dengan Jaulan modern di Hauran Barat, dengan panjang sekitar 39 mil dan lebar 18 mil.
