Sebuah distrik di Madai tempat orang-orang Israel tawanan diangkut oleh raja-raja Asyur (2 Raja-raja 17:6; 18:11; 1 Tawarikh 5:26). Terletak di sepanjang tepi hulu Khabur, dari sumbernya hingga pertemuannya dengan Jerujer. Kemungkinan distrik yang disebut oleh Ptolemeus sebagai Khalkitis.
