Pribadi ketiga dari Tritunggal yang mahakudus.

Kepribadian-Nya terbukti (1) dari kenyataan bahwa sifat-sifat kepribadian, seperti kecerdasan dan kehendak, dinisbatkan kepada-Nya (Yohanes 14:17, 26; Yohanes 15:26; 1 Korintus 2:10, 11; 1 Korintus 12:11). Dia menegur, menolong, memuliakan, dan bersyafaat (Yohanes 16:7-13; Roma 8:26). (2) Dia menjalankan tugas-tugas yang hanya khas bagi seorang pribadi. Hakikat tugas-tugas ini melibatkan pembedaan pribadi (Lukas 12:12; Kisah Para Rasul 5:32; 15:28; 16:6; 28:25; 1 Korintus 2:13; Ibrani 2:4; 3:7; 2 Petrus 1:21).

Keilahian-Nya diteguhkan (1) dari kenyataan bahwa nama-nama Allah dikenakan kepada-Nya (Keluaran 17:7; Mazmur 95:7; bdg. Ibrani 3:7-11); dan (2) bahwa sifat-sifat ilahi juga dinisbatkan kepada-Nya, yaitu mahahadir (Mazmur 139:7; Efesus 2:17, 18; 1 Korintus 12:13); mahatahu (1 Korintus 2:10, 11); mahakuasa (Lukas 1:35; Roma 8:11); kekekalan (Ibrani 9:4). (3) Penciptaan dinisbatkan kepada-Nya (Kejadian 1:2; Ayub 26:13; Mazmur 104:30), serta mukjizat-mukjizat (Matius 12:28; 1 Korintus 12:9-11). (4) Penyembahan dituntut dan diberikan kepada-Nya (Yesaya 6:3; Kisah Para Rasul 28:25; Roma 9:1; Wahyu 1:4; Matius 28:19).
