Yebus
Terinjak keras, benteng, atau “bukit tanpa air”, nama kota Kanaan yang berdiri di atas Gunung Sion (Yosua 15:8; 18:16, 28). Kota ini diidentifikasi dengan Yerusalem (lihat artikelnya) dalam Hakim-hakim 19:10, dan dengan benteng atau Kota Daud (1 Tawarikh 11:4, 5). Tempat ini merupakan benteng alami yang sangat kukuh, dan perebutannya adalah salah satu pencapaian Daud yang paling gemilang (2 Samuel 5:8).
