(Secara tepat disebut Shi’hor) hitam; gelap, nama yang diberikan untuk Sungai Nil dalam Yesaya 23:3; Yeremia 2:18. Dalam Yosua 13:3, kemungkinan ini adalah “sungai Mesir”, yaitu Wadi el-Arish (1 Tawarikh 13:5), yang mengalir di “sebelah timur Mesir”, yakni ke arah timur laut dari Mesir, dan bermuara ke laut sekitar 80 kilometer di barat daya Gaza.
