Sitim
Pohon-pohon akasia, disebut juga “Abel-Sitim” (Bilangan 33:49), sebuah dataran atau lembah di tanah Moab tempat orang Israel berkemah setelah dua kemenangan mereka atas Sihon dan Og, pada akhir pengembaraan mereka di padang belantara, dan dari tempat itu Yosua mengutus dua mata-mata (q.v.) “secara rahasia” untuk “mengamati” negeri itu dan Yerikho (Yosua 2:1).
