Pencobaan Yesus
Setelah baptisan-Nya, Yesus berpuasa empat puluh hari di padang gurun dan dicobai oleh Iblis tiga kali: mengubah batu menjadi roti, menguji Allah dengan menjatuhkan diri dari bubungan bait suci, dan menyembah Iblis demi kekuasaan duniawi. Dia menjawab setiap pencobaan dengan mengutip Kitab Suci (Matius 4:1-11).
