Tobia
Menyenangkan bagi TUHAN; sang “hamba”, “orang Amon”, yang bergabung dengan orang-orang yang menentang pembangunan kembali Yerusalem setelah Pembuangan (Nehemia 2:10). Ia adalah orang yang sangat berpengaruh, yang digunakannya untuk menentang orang-orang Yahudi, dan “mengirimkan surat-surat” kepada Nehemia “untuk menakut-nakutinya” (Nehemia 6:17-19). “Imam Elyasib” menyediakan baginya selama ketidakhadiran Nehemia “sebuah kamar di pelataran rumah Allah,” yang sekembalinya Nehemia sangat mendukakannya, sehingga ia “melemparkan semua barang milik Tobia ke luar kamar itu” (Nehemia 13:7, 8).
