  3. Jeremiah 7:30 עָלָ֖יו

For the people of Judah have done evil in My sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their abominations in the house that bears My Name, and so have defiled it.

  4. Jeremiah 7:31 עַל־

They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Hinnom so they could burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I never commanded, nor did it even enter My mind.

  5. Jeremiah 8:2 עַל־

They will be exposed to the sun and moon, and to all the host of heaven which they have loved, served, followed, consulted, and worshiped. Their bones will not be gathered up or buried, but will become like dung lying on the ground.

  6. Jeremiah 8:6 עַל־

I have listened and heard; they do not speak what is right. No one repents of his wickedness, asking, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone has pursued his own course like a horse charging into battle.

  7. Jeremiah 8:11 עַל־

They dress the wound of the daughter of My people with very little care, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace at all.

  8. Jeremiah 8:14 עַל־

Why are we just sitting here? Gather together, let us flee to the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has doomed us. He has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.

  9. Jeremiah 8:18 עֲלֵ֣יעָלַ֖י

My sorrow is beyond healing; my heart is faint within me.

  10. Jeremiah 8:21 עַל־

For the brokenness of the daughter of my people I am crushed. I mourn; horror has gripped me.

  12. Jeremiah 9:9 הַעַל־

Should I not punish them for these things? declares the LORD. Should I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?”

  13. Jeremiah 9:10 עַל־וְעַל־

I will take up a weeping and wailing for the mountains, a dirge over the wilderness pasture, for they have been scorched so no one passes through, and the lowing of cattle is not heard. Both the birds of the air and the beasts have fled; they have gone away.

  14. Jeremiah 9:12 עַל־

Who is the man wise enough to understand this? To whom has the mouth of the LORD spoken, that he may explain it? Why is the land destroyed and scorched like a desert, so no one can pass through it?

  15. Jeremiah 9:13 עַל־

And the LORD answered, “It is because they have forsaken My law, which I set before them; they have not walked in it or obeyed My voice.

  16. Jeremiah 9:18 עָלֵ֖ינוּ

  19. Jeremiah 9:26 עַל־וְעַל־וְעַל־וְעַל־וְעַל־וְעַל֙

Egypt, Judah, Edom, Ammon, Moab, and all the inhabitants of the desert who clip the hair of their temples. For all these nations are uncircumcised, and the whole house of Israel is uncircumcised in heart.”

  20. Jeremiah 10:1 עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם

  23. Jeremiah 10:25 עַל־וְעַל֙

Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge You, and on the families that do not call on Your name. For they have devoured Jacob; they have consumed him and finished him off; they have devastated his homeland.

  24. Jeremiah 11:2 וְעַל־

“Listen to the words of this covenant and tell them to the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem.

  25. Jeremiah 11:8 עֲלֵיהֶ֜ם

Yet they would not obey or incline their ears, but each one followed the stubbornness of his evil heart. So I brought on them all the curses of this covenant I had commanded them to follow but they did not keep.”

  26. They have returned to the sins of their forefathers who refused to obey My words. They have followed other gods to serve them. The house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken the covenant I made with their fathers.

  27. Jeremiah 11:15 מֵֽעָלָ֑יִךְ

What right has My beloved in My house, having carried out so many evil schemes? Can consecrated meat avert your doom, so that you can rejoice?

  28. Jeremiah 11:16 עָלֶ֔יהָ

The LORD once called you a flourishing olive tree, beautiful with well-formed fruit. But with a mighty roar He will set it on fire, and its branches will be consumed.

  29. Jeremiah 11:17 עָלַ֖יִךְ

The LORD of Hosts, who planted you, has decreed disaster against you on account of the evil that the house of Israel and the house of Judah have brought upon themselves, provoking Me to anger by burning incense to Baal.”

  30. Jeremiah 11:19 עָלַ֣י׀

For I was like a gentle lamb led to slaughter; I did not know that they had plotted against me: “Let us destroy the tree with its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be remembered no more.”

  31. Therefore this is what the LORD says concerning the people of Anathoth who are seeking your life and saying, “You must not prophesy in the name of the LORD, or you will die by our hand.”

  32. Jeremiah 11:22 עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם

So this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “I will punish them. Their young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters by famine.

  35. Jeremiah 12:11 עָלַ֖יעַל־

They have made it a desolation; desolate before Me, it mourns. All the land is laid waste, but no man takes it to heart.

  36. Jeremiah 12:12 עַֽל־

Over all the barren heights in the wilderness the destroyers have come, for the sword of the LORD devours from one end of the earth to the other. No flesh has peace.

  37. Jeremiah 12:14 עַל־מֵעַ֣ל

  38. Jeremiah 13:1 עַל־

This is what the LORD said to me: “Go and buy yourself a linen loincloth and put it around your waist, but do not let it touch water.”

  42. Give glory to the LORD your God before He brings darkness, before your feet stumble on the dusky mountains. You wait for light, but He turns it into deep gloom and thick darkness.

  43. Jeremiah 13:21 עָלַ֔יִךְעָלַ֛יִךְ

What will you say when He sets over you close allies whom you yourself trained? Will not pangs of anguish grip you, as they do a woman in labor?

  44. So I will pull your skirts up over your face, that your shame may be seen.

  45. Your adulteries and lustful neighings, your shameless prostitution on the hills and in the fields— I have seen your detestable acts. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! How long will you remain unclean?”

  46. Jeremiah 14:1 עַל־

This is the word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought:

  47. Jeremiah 14:3 עַל־

The nobles send their servants for water; they go to the cisterns, but find no water; their jars return empty. They are ashamed and humiliated; they cover their heads.

  48. Jeremiah 14:6 עַל־

Wild donkeys stand on barren heights; they pant for air like jackals; their eyes fail for lack of pasture.”

  49. Jeremiah 14:9 עָלֵ֥ינוּ

Why are You like a man taken by surprise, like a warrior powerless to save? Yet You are among us, O LORD, and we are called by Your name. Do not forsake us!

  50. Jeremiah 14:15 עַֽל־

Therefore this is what the LORD says about the prophets who prophesy in My name: I did not send them, yet they say, ‘No sword or famine will touch this land.’ By sword and famine these very prophets will meet their end!
