Lugar
Mount Tabor
Mount Tabor rises from the Jezreel Valley and is where Deborah directed Barak to gather his forces before their victory over the Canaanite general Sisera (Judges 4). Later Christian tradition, though not the Gospels themselves, identifies it as the site of Jesus's transfiguration.
