Cushi
Cushi was the messenger Joab sent to tell David of the army's victory and of Absalom's death, a task the more eager Ahimaaz had asked for and been refused (2 Samuel 18:19-32). Cushi delivered the news plainly, prompting David's grief-stricken "O my son Absalom."
