Asytarot
Sebuah kota di Basan, di dalam kerajaan Og (Ulangan 1:4; Yosua 12:4; 13:12; 9:10). Kota ini berada di wilayah setengah suku Manasye (Yosua 13:12), dan sebagai kota orang Lewi diberikan kepada orang Gerson (1 Tawarikh 6:71). Uzia, salah satu pahlawan Daud (1 Tawarikh 11:44), disebutkan berasal dari kota ini. Kota ini diidentifikasi dengan Tell Ashterah di Hauran, dan tercatat pada monumen-monumen tahun 1700–1500 SM. Nama Beestera (Yosua 21:27) adalah singkatan dari Bet-Esetera, yaitu “rumah Asytarot.”
