Ách-ta-rốt
Một thành phố của Ba-san, thuộc vương quốc Óc (Phục-truyền Luật-lệ Ký 1:4; Giô-suê 12:4; 13:12; 9:10). Thành nằm trong phần nửa chi phái Ma-na-se (Giô-suê 13:12), và là một thành của người Lê-vi được ban cho con cháu Gẹt-sôn (1 Sử-ký 6:71). U-xi-a, một trong những người dũng mãnh của Đa-vít (1 Sử-ký 11:44), được ghi là xuất thân từ thành này. Thành được xác định trùng với Tell Ashterah ở Hauran, và được ghi nhận trên các di tích từ năm 1700-1500 TCN. Tên Bết-Ếch-kê-ra (Giô-suê 21:27) là viết tắt của Bết-Ách-ta-rốt, tức là “nhà Ách-ta-rốt”.
