Elimelekh
Allah rajanya, seorang dari suku Yehuda, dari kaum Hezron, dan kerabat Boas, yang tinggal di Betlehem pada zaman hakim-hakim. Akibat kelaparan yang hebat, dia bersama istrinya, Naomi, dan kedua putranya pergi untuk tinggal di tanah Moab. Di sana dia dan putra-putranya meninggal (Rut 1:2, 3; Rut 2:1, 3; Rut 4:3, 9). Naomi kemudian kembali ke Palestina bersama menantunya, Rut.
