Meriba (di Kadesh)
Mata air lain dengan asal mula serupa di Padang Belantara Zin, dekat Kades (Bilangan 27:14). Kedua tempat ini disebutkan bersama dalam Ulangan 33:8. Sebagian orang menganggap tempat yang satu ini disebut dengan dua nama (Mazmur 81:7). Saat memukul bukit batu di tempat ini, Musa menunjukkan ketidaksabaran yang sama seperti umat tersebut (Bilangan 20:10-12). Peristiwa ini terjadi menjelang akhir masa pengembaraan di padang belantara (Bilangan 20:1-24; Ulangan 32:51).
