சீன் வனாந்தரத்தில், காதேசுக்கு அருகில் இதேபோன்ற ஒரு பின்னணியைக் கொண்ட மற்றொரு நீரூற்று (எண்ணாகமம் 27:14). இவ்விரண்டு இடங்களும் உபாகமம் 33:8-ல் ஒன்றாகக் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளன. சிலர் ஒரே இடம் தான் இந்த இரண்டு பெயர்களாலும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது என்று கருதுகின்றனர் (சங்கீதங்கள் 81:7). இவ்விடத்தில் கன்மலையை அடித்தபோது மோசே மக்களைப் போலவே பொறுமையின்மையைக் காட்டினார் (எண்ணாகமம் 20:10-12). இது வனாந்தரப் பயணத்தின் முடிவுக்கு அருகில் நிகழ்ந்தது (எண்ணாகமம் 20:1-24; உபாகமம் 32:51).
