Raja, nama ilah nasional orang Amon, yang kepadanya anak-anak dikorbankan melalui api. Dia adalah api yang menghanguskan dan membinasakan, serta pada saat yang sama menyucikan. Dalam Amos 5:26, “Molokhmu” dalam Authorized Version diterjemahkan menjadi “rajamu” dalam Revised Version (bdk. Kisah Para Rasul 7:43). Salomo (1 Raja-raja 11:7) mendirikan tempat tinggi bagi berhala ini di Bukit Zaitun, dan sejak saat itu hingga zaman Yosia penyembahannya terus berlanjut (2 Raja-raja 23:10, 13). Pada zaman Yoahas, penyembahan ini dipulihkan sebagian, tetapi setelah Pembuangan lenyap sama sekali. Dia juga disebut Molekh (Imamat 18:21; 20:2-5, dll.), Milkom (1 Raja-raja 11:5, 33, dll.), dan Malkham (Zefanya 1:5). Ilah ini menjadi Kamos di antara orang Moab.
