Gunung Hermon
Gunung Hermon adalah puncak tertinggi di wilayah itu, menandai ujung utara wilayah Israel dekat perbatasan Lebanon dan Siria. Puncaknya yang berselimut salju menjadikannya tengara alami yang dirujuk bersama Gunung Sion dalam Mazmur 133:3, dan tradisi Kristen kemudian menempatkan peristiwa transfigurasi Yesus di lerengnya, meskipun kitab-kitab Injil sendiri tidak menyebutkan nama gunung tersebut.
