Para nabi dalam Kitab Suci Nubuat Alkitab

Seorang nabi pada masa pemerintahan Daud dan Salomo (2 Tawarikh 9:29). Ia pertama kali disebut berkaitan dengan persiapan yang dilakukan Daud untuk pembangunan Bait Suci (2 Samuel 7:2, 3, 17), dan kemudian tampil menegur Daud atas dosanya bersama Batsyeba (2 Samuel 12:1-14). Ia dipercayakan mendidik Salomo (2 Samuel 12:25), dan memegang peran penting saat Salomo dinobatkan menjadi raja (1 Raja-raja 1:8, 10, 11, 22-45). Kedua anaknya, Zabad (1 Tawarikh 2:36) dan Azarya (1 Raja-raja 4:5), menempati posisi terhormat di istana raja. Penampilan terakhirnya adalah saat membantu Daud mengatur kembali ibadah bersama (2 Tawarikh 29:25). Ia tampaknya telah menulis riwayat hidup Daud dan juga Salomo (1 Tawarikh 29:29; 2 Tawarikh 9:29).
