Patros
Nama yang umumnya diberikan untuk Mesir Hulu (Thebaid menurut orang Yunani), untuk membedakannya dari Matsor, atau Mesir Hilir (Yesaya 11:11; Yeremia 44:1, 15; Yehezkiel 30:14), yang keduanya membentuk Mizraim. Setelah kehancuran Yerusalem oleh Nebukadnezar, permukiman-permukiman orang Yahudi menetap “di tanah Patros” dan bagian-bagian Mesir lainnya.
