Ribla
Berbuah, sebuah kota kuno di perbatasan utara Palestina, 35 mil di sebelah timur laut Baalbek, dan 10 atau 12 mil di sebelah selatan Danau Homs, di tepi timur Sungai Orontes, di sebuah dataran yang luas dan subur. Di sinilah Nebukadnezar mendirikan markas besarnya dalam penyerangannya melawan Yerusalem, dan di sini pula Nekho mendirikan perkemahannya setelah mengalahkan pasukan Yosia di Megido (2 Raja-raja 23:29-35; 25:6, 20, 21; Yeremia 39:5; 52:10). Kota ini berada di jalan kafilah besar dari Palestina ke Karkemis, di tepi Sungai Efrat. Kota ini digambarkan (Bilangan 34:11) sebagai “di sebelah timur Ain”. Sebuah tempat yang masih disebut el Ain, yaitu “mata air”, ditemukan di posisi seperti itu sekitar 10 mil jauhnya.
