Tahpanhes adalah sebuah kota di Mesir dekat perbatasan timur tempat sekelompok orang Yehuda melarikan diri setelah pembunuhan Gedalya, gubernur yang diangkat Babel, dengan membawa serta Nabi Yeremia secara paksa (Yeremia 43). Di sana Yeremia bernubuat bahwa Nebukadnezar suatu hari nanti akan mendirikan takhtanya di pintu masuk kota tersebut.
