Elkana
Seorang Lewi lainnya dari garis keturunan Heman sang penyanyi, meskipun ia tampaknya tidak menjalankan tugas-tugas keimaman Lewi yang biasa. Ia adalah ayah dari nabi Samuel (1 Tawarikh 6:27, 34). Ia adalah “seorang Efrata” (1 Samuel 1:1, 4, 8), tetapi tinggal di Rama, seorang yang kaya dan berkedudukan tinggi. Ia memiliki dua istri, Hana, yang merupakan ibu Samuel, dan Penina.
