Ên-ca-na
Một người Lê-vi khác thuộc dòng dõi người ca hát Hê-man, dẫu ông dường như không thi hành bất kỳ chức vụ thông thường nào của người Lê-vi. Ông là cha của đấng tiên tri Sa-mu-ên (1 Sử-ký 6:27, 34). Ông là “người Ép-ra-im” (1 Sa-mu-ên 1:1, 4, 8), nhưng sống tại Ra-ma, là một người giàu có và có địa vị cao. Ông có hai người vợ: An-ne (mẹ của Sa-mu-ên) và Phê-ni-na.
