Concordance 205 verses

1. Numbers 2:22 וּמַטֵּ֖ה

   Next will be the tribe of Benjamin. The leader of the Benjamites is Abidan son of Gideoni,

2. Numbers 2:27 מַטֵּ֣ה

   The tribe of Asher will camp next to it. The leader of the Asherites is Pagiel son of Ocran,

3. Numbers 2:29 וּמַטֵּ֖ה

   Next will be the tribe of Naphtali. The leader of the Naphtalites is Ahira son of Enan,

4. Numbers 3:6 מַטֵּ֣ה

   “Bring the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him.

5. Numbers 7:2 הַמַּטֹּ֔ת

   And the leaders of Israel, the heads of their families, presented an offering. These men were the tribal leaders who had supervised the registration.

6. Numbers 7:12 לְמַטֵּ֥ה

   On the first day Nahshon son of Amminadab from the tribe of Judah drew near with his offering.

7. Numbers 10:15 מַטֵּ֖ה

   Nethanel son of Zuar was over the division of the tribe of Issachar,

8. Numbers 10:16 מַטֵּ֖ה

   and Eliab son of Helon was over the division of the tribe of Zebulun.

9. Numbers 10:19 מַטֵּ֖ה

   Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai was over the division of the tribe of Simeon,

10. Numbers 10:20 מַטֵּ֣ה

    and Eliasaph son of Deuel was over the division of the tribe of Gad.

11. Numbers 10:23 מַטֵּ֖ה

    Gamaliel son of Pedahzur was over the division of the tribe of Manasseh,

12. Numbers 10:24 מַטֵּ֖ה

    and Abidan son of Gideoni was over the division of the tribe of Benjamin.

13. Numbers 10:26 מַטֵּ֖ה

    Pagiel son of Ocran was over the division of the tribe of Asher,

14. Numbers 10:27 מַטֵּ֖ה

    and Ahira son of Enan was over the division of the tribe of Naphtali.

15. Numbers 13:2 לְמַטֵּ֤ה

    “Send out for yourself men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the Israelites. From each of their fathers’ tribes send one man who is a leader among them.”

16. Numbers 13:4 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    and these were their names: From the tribe of Reuben, Shammua son of Zaccur;

17. Numbers 13:5 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat son of Hori;

18. Numbers 13:6 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

19. Numbers 13:7 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Issachar, Igal son of Joseph;

20. Numbers 13:8 לְמַטֵּ֥ה

    from the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea son of Nun;

21. Numbers 13:9 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Benjamin, Palti son of Raphu;

22. Numbers 13:10 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel son of Sodi;

23. Numbers 13:11 לְמַטֵּ֥הלְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Manasseh (a tribe of Joseph), Gaddi son of Susi;

24. Numbers 13:12 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Dan, Ammiel son of Gemalli;

25. Numbers 13:13 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Asher, Sethur son of Michael;

26. Numbers 13:14 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    from the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi son of Vophsi;

27. Numbers 13:15 לְמַטֵּ֣ה

    and from the tribe of Gad, Geuel son of Machi.

28. Numbers 17:2 מַטֶּ֣המַטֶּה֩מַטּ֑וֹתמַטֵּֽהוּ׃

    “Speak to the Israelites and take from them twelve staffs, one from the leader of each tribe. Write each man’s name on his staff,

29. Numbers 17:3 מַטֵּ֣המַטֶּ֣ה

    and write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi, because there must be one staff for the head of each tribe.

30. Numbers 17:5 מַטֵּ֣הוּ

    The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid Myself of the constant grumbling of the Israelites against you.”

31. Numbers 17:6 מַטֶּה֩מַטֶּ֨המַטּ֑וֹתוּמַטֵּ֥המַטּוֹתָֽם׃

    So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and each of their leaders gave him a staff—one for each of the leaders of their tribes, twelve staffs in all. And Aaron’s staff was among them.

32. Numbers 17:7 הַמַּטֹּ֖ת

    Then Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.

33. Numbers 17:8 מַטֵּֽה־

    The next day Moses entered the Tent of the Testimony and saw that Aaron’s staff, representing the house of Levi, had sprouted, put forth buds, blossomed, and produced almonds.

34. Numbers 17:9 הַמַּטֹּת֙מַטֵּֽהוּ׃ס

    Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the LORD’s presence to all the Israelites. They saw them, and each man took his own staff.

35. Numbers 17:10 מַטֵּ֤ה

    The LORD said to Moses, “Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the Testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebellious, so that you may put an end to their grumbling against Me, lest they die.”

36. Numbers 18:2 מַטֵּ֨ה

    But bring with you also your brothers from the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may join you and assist you and your sons before the Tent of the Testimony.

37. Numbers 20:8 הַמַּטֶּ֗ה

    “Take the staff and assemble the congregation. You and your brother Aaron are to speak to the rock while they watch, and it will pour out its water. You will bring out water from the rock and provide drink for the congregation and their livestock.”

38. Numbers 20:9 הַמַּטֶּ֖ה

    So Moses took the staff from the LORD’s presence, just as he had been commanded.

39. Numbers 20:11 בְּמַטֵּ֖הוּ

    Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff, so that a great amount of water gushed out, and the congregation and their livestock were able to drink.

40. Numbers 26:55 מַטּוֹת־

    Indeed, the land must be divided by lot; they shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.

41. Numbers 30:1 הַמַּטּ֔וֹת

    Then Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:

42. Numbers 31:4 לַמַּטֶּ֔הלַמַּטֶּ֑המַטּ֣וֹת

    Send into battle a thousand men from each tribe of Israel.”

43. Numbers 31:5 לַמַּטֶּ֑ה

    So a thousand men were recruited from each tribe of Israel—twelve thousand armed for war.

44. Numbers 31:6 לַמַּטֶּ֖ה

    And Moses sent the thousand from each tribe into battle, along with Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest, who took with him the vessels of the sanctuary and the trumpets for signaling.

45. Numbers 32:28 הַמַּטּ֖וֹת

    So Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest, to Joshua son of Nun, and to the family leaders of the tribes of Israel.

46. Numbers 33:54 לְמַטּ֥וֹת

    And you are to divide the land by lot according to your clans. Give a larger inheritance to a larger clan and a smaller inheritance to a smaller one. Whatever falls to each one by lot will be his. You will receive an inheritance according to the tribes of your fathers.

47. Numbers 34:13 הַמַּטּ֖וֹתהַמַּטֶּֽה׃

    So Moses commanded the Israelites, “Apportion this land by lot as an inheritance. The LORD has commanded that it be given to the nine and a half tribes.

48. Numbers 34:14 מַטֵּ֨הוּמַטֵּ֥המַטֵּ֣ה

    For the tribes of the Reubenites and Gadites, along with the half-tribe of Manasseh, have already received their inheritance.

49. Numbers 34:15 הַמַּטּ֖וֹתהַמַּטֶּ֑ה

    These two and a half tribes have received their inheritance across the Jordan from Jericho, toward the sunrise.”

50. Numbers 34:18 מִמַּטֶּ֑ה

    Appoint one leader from each tribe to distribute the land.
