Where the data comes from
People, places, events, and relationships come from Theographic Bible Metadata (CC BY-SA 4.0); cross-references come from OpenBible.info (CC BY 4.0). Translation licenses and how genealogy and chronology are derived are covered on the data & methodology page.
Adding this to a research guide?
We'd like to hear how you plan to use Bible Atlas in a Biblical Studies or Religious Studies guide. If you come across an error, omission, or questionable connection, tell us: the underlying data should be as accurate as possible for academic work.
