Biblical Events

450 events span the Bible's timeline, from Creation at the opening of Genesis to the early church's first years in Acts. Some, like the Exodus or the crucifixion, fill entire books and reshape everything that follows; others are a single verse, a private moment between two people that still made it into the record. Wars, famines, weddings, plagues, journeys, and quiet conversations all sit on the same timeline, in the order they happened rather than the order they were written down. Laid out together, they show how one event set up the next, across thousands of years of history.

Old Testament

The Old Testament covers thousands of years, from Creation and the Flood through the Exodus, the reigns of Israel's kings, the divided kingdom, exile, and the return to Jerusalem. This timeline lays out the people and events behind that story in the order they happened.

New Testament

The New Testament runs from the birth of Jesus through his ministry, death, and resurrection to the growth of the early church and Paul's journeys. This timeline places each event in order, alongside where it happened and who was involved.

The Web

Many events in the Bible belong to a larger story: Holy Week, the Exodus, Paul's journeys. The graph starts with the events tied to the most people, places, and other events, linked where one is part of another or comes right before it. Click an event to see who was there and where it happened.
