Ba-rác
Tia chớp, con trai của A-bi-nô-am (Các Quan Xét 4:6). Theo lời kêu gọi của Đê-bô-ra, ông đã giao chiến với Gia-bin. Bà đã đi cùng ông vào trận chiến, và ra hiệu cho đoàn quân nhỏ mở cuộc tấn công; trong trận này đạo quân của Gia-bin đã hoàn toàn tan tác. Trận chiến đã diễn ra (Các Quan Xét 4:16) tại đồng bằng Gieh-rê-ên (xem mục này). Sự giải cứu Y-sơ-ra-ên này được kỷ niệm trong Các Quan Xét 5. Đức tin của Ba-rác được khen ngợi (Hê-bơ-rơ 11:32). “Tính cách của Ba-rác, dù tin kính, dường như không mang tính anh hùng. Giống như Ghê-đê-ôn, và theo một nghĩa nào đó là Sam-sôn, ông là một minh họa cho lời trong Hê-bơ-rơ 11:34, ‘nhờ đức tin mà... trở nên mạnh mẽ.’”
