Cây cầu, tên của một quận hạt hoặc lãnh địa của Sy-ri gần Ga-la-át, nằm giữa núi Hẹt-môn và biển Ti-bê-ri-át (2 Sa-mu-ên 15:8; 1 Sử-ký 2:23). Dân Ghê-su-rít có lẽ đã cư trú tại đồn lũy đá A-rơ-gốp, tức Lejah ngày nay, ở góc đông bắc xứ Ba-san. Vào thời Đa-vít, vùng này do Thanh-mai cai trị; Đa-vít đã cưới con gái của vua này, là mẹ của Áp-sa-lôm, người đã trốn sang Ghê-su-rơ sau khi giết Am-nôn (2 Sa-mu-ên 13:37).
