Một vùng ở Trung Á nơi dân Y-sơ-ra-ên bị bắt đi lưu đày (2 Các Vua 17:6; 1 Sử-ký 5:26; 2 Các Vua 19:12; Ê-sai 37:12). Vùng này nằm ở Mê-sô-bô-ta-mi, bên sông Cha-bo (2 Các Vua 17:6; 18:11), tức Khabur, một nhánh của sông Ơ-phơ-rát. “Sông của Gô-xan” (1 Sử-ký 5:26) có lẽ là phần thượng lưu của con sông chảy qua tỉnh Gô-xan, nay là Kizzel-Ozan.
