Ma-ri thăm Ê-li-sa-bét
Sau lời truyền tin của Gáp-ri-ên, Ma-ri đi thăm người bà con là Ê-li-sa-bét, lúc ấy đang mang thai Giăng Báp-tít được sáu tháng. Khi Ma-ri chào, thai nhi nhảy nhót trong bụng Ê-li-sa-bét, và Ma-ri đáp lại bằng bài ca ngợi khen được gọi là bài ca Ma-ri (Magnificat) (Lu-ca 1:39-56).
