Nơi đầy cát, một thành phố hoàng gia cổ kính của người Ca-na-an, nằm ở biên giới phía tây nam của đồng bằng Bết-xê-la (Esdraelon), cách Mê-ghi-đô 4 dặm về phía nam. Vua thành này đã bị Giô-suê đánh bại (12:21). Thành được phân chia cho người Lê-vi thuộc gia tộc Kê-hát (17:11-18; 21:25). Nơi đây cũng được nhắc đến trong bài ca của Đê-bô-ra (Các Quan Xét 5:19). Thành được xác định là ngôi làng Ta'annuk nhỏ ngày nay.
