Tháp Ba-bên
Khi toàn thể nhân loại còn dùng chung một thứ tiếng, cư dân Ba-bên định xây một thành và một ngọn tháp chạm đến tận trời. Đức Chúa Trời đã làm lộn xộn tiếng nói của họ để họ không còn hiểu được nhau nữa, rồi làm cho họ tản lạc khắp mặt đất (Sáng-thế Ký 11:1-9).
