Xê-lô-phát
Con đầu lòng; thuộc chi phái Ma-na-se và gia tộc Ga-la-át; đã qua đời trong đồng vắng. Vì không có con trai nên các con gái của ông lo sợ tên của cha mình sẽ “bị xóa khỏi gia tộc”, bèn cầu xin Môi-se; dưới sự chỉ dẫn thiêng liêng, Môi-se đã lập nên “luật định về sự phán xét” tại Y-sơ-ra-ên rằng các con gái sẽ được hưởng phần sản nghiệp của cha khi không có con trai nối dõi (Dân-số Ký 27:1-11). Nhưng để sản nghiệp của Xê-lô-phát không bị chuyển giao sang chi phái khác trong năm hân hỉ, Môi-se đã quy định rằng các con gái của ông không được kết hôn với người ngoài chi phái của cha mình; và điều này sau đó trở thành luật chung (Dân-số Ký 36).
