Nơi của ong bắp cày, một thị trấn ở vùng đồng bằng Giu-đa, sau đó được chia cho Đan (Giô-suê 19:41; Các Quan Xét 18:2), có lẽ cùng một nơi với Xô-rê-a (Giô-suê 15:33). Đây là nơi sinh của Sam-sôn (Các Quan Xét 13:2, 25), và gần đó ông đã được chôn cất (Các Quan Xét 16:31). Thị trấn tọa lạc trên đỉnh đồi nhìn ra thung lũng Sô-réc, và được Rô-bô-am củng cố phòng thủ (2 Sử-ký 11:10). Nơi này được xác định là Sur'ah, trong Wady Surar, cách Giê-ru-sa-lem 8 dặm về phía tây. Nơi đây được ghi nhận trên các bia tưởng niệm vào thế kỷ 15 TCN là đã bị người Abiri hay người Hê-bơ-rơ tấn công.
