聖經中的聖約
舊約中上帝所立的每一個聖約，除了一個以外，都仍然有效。西乃山之聖約，是上帝透過摩西，以以色列人的順服為條件而立的，也是這條時間線上唯一一個有截止日期的約：它在十字架上被新聖約取代，而新約正是它一直以來所預示的。其餘五個約，從它們被立起的那一刻起，就一直延續到今天。
