Disciples of John

Followers of John the Baptist. Some, like Andrew, later became disciples of Jesus (John 1:35-40); others remained a distinct group after John's death, questioning Jesus about fasting (Matthew 9:14), and one account in Acts finds a group in Ephesus still only aware of John's baptism decades later (Acts 19:1-7).
