Trí tuệ, một thành do Si-hôn, vua dân A-mô-rít cai trị (Giô-suê 3:10; 13:17). Thành đã bị Môi-se chiếm (Dân-số Ký 21:23-26), sau đó trở thành một thành của người Lê-vi (Giô-suê 21:39) thuộc chi phái Ru-bên (Dân-số Ký 32:37). Sau thời kỳ Lưu đày, thành bị dân Mô-áp chiếm lấy (Ê-sai 15:4; Giê-rê-mi 48:2, 34, 45). Tàn tích của thành này ngày nay vẫn thấy ở khoảng 20 dặm về phía đông sông Giô-đanh, tính từ bờ bắc của Biển Chết. Trong khu vực này có các hồ chứa nước, có lẽ là “các hồ” được nói đến trong Nhã ca 7:4.
