Một người Lê-vi trong số các trưởng tộc trở về từ chốn lưu đày Ba-by-lôn cùng Xô-rô-ba-bên (Ê-xơ-ra 2:40; Nê-hê-mi 7:43). Người giúp chỉ đạo việc tái thiết đền thờ (Ê-xơ-ra 3:9), cùng tham gia giải nghĩa luật pháp cho dân chúng (Nê-hê-mi 8:7), và dẫn dắt người Lê-vi trong sự xưng tội và cầu nguyện công khai (Nê-hê-mi 9:4-5).
