La-ít
Một thành của dân Si-đôn ở cực bắc Pa-lét-tin (Các Quan Xét 18:7, 14); còn gọi là Lêshem (Giô-suê 19:47) và Đan (Các Quan Xét 18:7, 29; Giê-rê-mi 8:16). Nơi này nằm gần nguồn sông Giô-đanh, cách Pa-nê-ách khoảng 4 dặm. Chi phái Đan đầy hiếu chiến và không chịu ngồi yên (xem mục này), vì tìm kiếm sản nghiệp lớn hơn, đã xâm lược xứ này và chiếm lấy La-ít cùng lãnh thổ chung quanh. Thành được xác định là tàn tích Tell-el-Kady, tức “gò đất của quan xét”, nằm ở phía bắc vùng Nước Mê-rôm (Giô-suê 11:5).
