Nơi Chí Thánh
Một trong hai phần được chia ra của đền tạm (Xuất Ê-díp-tô Ký 26:31; 37:17-25; Hê-bơ-rơ 9:2). Nơi này dài 20 thước, cao và rộng 10 thước. Nơi đây được chiếu sáng bởi chân đèn bằng vàng, vì không có cửa mở nào để đón ánh sáng. Nơi này chứa bàn để bánh trần thiết (Xuất Ê-díp-tô Ký 25:23-29) và bàn thờ xông hương bằng vàng (Xuất Ê-díp-tô Ký 30:1-11). Nơi này được ngăn cách với nơi chí thánh bằng một bức màn bằng vật liệu đắt giá nhất và màu sắc rực rỡ nhất.
Bố cục của đền thờ (xem mục này) cũng tương tự về phương diện này. Trong đền thờ, các vách đá đẽo được ốp ván gỗ bá hương và bọc vàng, đồng thời được trang trí bằng các hình chạm trổ tuyệt đẹp. Người ta đi vào từ hiên cửa qua những cánh cửa xếp bọc vàng chạm nổi lộng lẫy. Bên ngoài nơi thánh có một bể lớn hay “biển” bằng đồng đúc, được nâng đỡ bởi mười hai con bò đực, mỗi phía ba con quay ra ngoài, có sức chứa hai ngàn báp nước. Bên cạnh đó còn có mười thùng rửa và bàn thờ dâng của lễ thiêu bằng đồng.
