Phi-líp
Một trong mười hai sứ đồ; quê ở Bết-sai-đa, “thành của Anh-rê và Phi-e-rơ” (Giăng 1:44). Ông sẵn sàng đáp lại tiếng gọi của Đức Chúa Jêsus khi lần đầu tiên Ngài gọi ông (43), rồi lập tức dẫn Na-tha-na-ên đến cùng Đức Chúa Jêsus (45, 46). Dường như ông giữ một vị trí nổi bật giữa các sứ đồ (Ma-thi-ơ 10:3; Mác 3:18; Giăng 6:5-7; 12:21, 22; 14:8, 9; Công-vụ các Sứ-đồ 1:13). Về phần sau đời ông, không có gì được biết chắc chắn. Tương truyền ông đã giảng đạo ở Phi-ri-ghi và tử vì đạo tại Hi-ê-ra-bô-li.
